Very quiet and leafy location, overlooks a small forested area but not more than 1.5 km from the centre of town. Classy and spacious interiors, very clean and well-maintained. Beautiful garden, swing area, hammocks, swimming pool. Daily newspapers were freely available. Adequate parking. Polite and helpful staff and reception. Brilliant hotel restaurant where we had a delicious dinner on the last evening of our trip. An excellent choice for a short trip to Mahabaleshwar as the word tranquil is most appropriate.

As the name suggests, Tranquil is very quiet resort nestled in the greenery of Mahabaleshwar. It is just a short walk away from the Market and that provides not just a good walk but also an opportunity to enjoy the uniqueness of Mahabaleshwar. The staff is very courteous and always happy to help with a smile. The restaurant is very quick with its turnaround and the food served is fresh and well prepared. Overall, it was a highly relaxing and satisfying stay.

I appreciated the family like working relationship of the staff and management. A special thanks goes to the 3 beautifull ladies in reception. Bhaggashree, Barnal and Ketaki. Always willing to assist. Esp. Bhaggashree who went out of her way to ensue the guest is happy. To you ladies i say - "Take a bow for a job well done." Keep smiling. Then there was Bapu who was always willing to part with valuable information regarding the area and property.
